La gastronomía española es, sin dudarlo un segundo, la que más
influencia ha ejercido en los platillos nacionales. Así como en
México se han adoptado sus sabores e ingredientes, los españoles
han sabido tomar lo mejor de esta tierra e interpretarlo a su
manera. Al final, somos dos culturas que hemos crecido juntas, y
eso es fácil verlo en la capital, donde sentarse en un restaurante
muy español se siente mucho como estar en casa.
Spanish gastronomy has undoubtedly been the strongest
influence on Mexican dishes. And just as its flavors and
ingredients have been incorporated into Mexican cuisine,
the Spanish have also taken the best from Mexico and used
it in their own way. Ultimately, both cultures have grown
together with a shared history, and this can be clearly seen
in the capital, where sitting down in an archetypally Spanish
restaurant feels very much like being at home.
